Cassondra Lyman, M.A.

Graduate Student

Cass is a 1st-year graduate student in the Social Psychology Ph.D. program. She is interested in how people's perceptions of themselves and the world around them influence their long-term goals and functioning. Thus far, her research has focused on understanding how well-being changes over time, especially after depression. Her current work aims to elucidate how the incorporation of depressive experiences into people’s life stories and sense of self may drive better outcomes.

Cass values rigorous, open science, and, as such, has earned a B.A. in Statistics and a graduate certificate in Data Analytics in addition to her degrees in psychology. She also thoroughly enjoys intellectually stimulating conversation and collaborative work, so please feel free to message her on a rainy day!
